Northern Alliance Bull Sale

SALE REPORT ::

The 7th Annual Northern Alliance bull sale held at BC Live Stock Coop yard in Vanderhoof saw another full house of buyers, both online and in person. The sale was opened with a heifer raffle benefiting two ranching families. Thank you to the bidders on these two animals, your help was greatly appreciated.

Red bulls averaged $4,794
Black bulls averaged $4,884
Black Simmental averaged $3,800

High Selling Red Angus Bull was Lot #570 Red Moon Dragon Rider 10D, going to Glen and Denise Stewart of Burns Lake, BC for $15,500.
Second High selling Red Angus Bull was lot # 572 Red Moon Dragon Slayer 23D going to C4 Ranching, the Weaver Family of Vanderhoof BC for $6,250.

Poplar Meadows had the high selling Black Angus bull, Lot #526, PM Top Gun 82’16 selling at $11,000 to Lakeland College out of Alberta.
Lot 544 PM Aviator 142’16 going to Jayron Wiens of Southbank, BC.

Blast Angus high seller was Lot 603 Blast 584 Unanimous 32D going to Russ McLarry at $7,250.
Second High Seller for Blast Angus was lot 599 at $6,750, Blast 584 Unanimous 17D finding a home with Clilancoh Ranch Ltd.

Marberly Angus saw their high selling bull Lot 615 Marberly Dillinger 20D sell to Clarence Friesen of Vanderhoof for $6,250. Marberly’s second high seller lot 611 went to Andres Grunthal of Prince George for $5,750.

Moon Black Simmental high selling bull was Lot 596, Moon Black Cow Maker 36D going to Ross Davidson of Fort St James for $4,500.
Second high selling Black Simmental lot 594 Moon Blk Power Cube 53D went to Mel Gulbranson of Vanderhoof for $4,250.

Volume Buyer was Douglas Lake Ranch with 12 head purchased.
